  • Contact tracing will be done at the entrance of the sportsplex.

  • Please follow signage within the facility.
WHILE IN THE FACILITY Players (coaches/managers)
  • Players and coaches can arrive 20 minutes before the start of their ice time.
  • Masks are strongly encouraged to be worn by players & coaches until they put on their helmets.
  • Mask must be worn when social distancing is not possible, ie: if tying skates for younger players.
  • The person doing the contact tracing will direct the players/teams entering to the correct zone (dressing rooms).
  • Players are asked to go directly to their assigned dressing room. Parents are NOT permitted in the dressing room zone.
  • If less than 9 people in the dressing room, masks can be taken off as long as players are socially distancing. Over 9 players, masks must stay on until they put on their helmets.
  • Players can only exit their dressing room to go on the ice when directed by rink staff. (The team will only be allowed onto the ice when the previous team has exited the ice surface, is in their dressing room and the ice has been flooded).
  • During games, coaches/managers are encouraged to wear their mask.
  • After the ice session, players must stay in the dressing room until directed by the rink staff that they can exit. They must be ready to exit within 15 minutes of coming off the ice. (The team is only allowed to exit the dressing room once the next team is on the ice.)
  • There is one washroom available to players/coaches.
Parents/spectators
  • Can only enter at the start of the ice time and must exit as soon as it is over. Do not crowd in lobbies or common area please.
  • Masks are strongly encouraged.

  • The doors will be locked 30 minutes after the ice session (this allows for sanitizing to be done between groups).
  • It is preferred (not required) that spectators stay in the facility during the ice session. Reminder that the doors will be locked 30 minutes into the ice session.
  • It is encouraged that spectators maintain a physical distance of 6 feet from other parents during the session.

  • The dressing room zone and the ice surface/bench zone is only for players/coaches. NO parents are allowed in this zone unless identified as a helper to the team. Persons doing the game sheet, scoreboard and shot clock would be considered in this group and are required to wear a mask.
  • There is NO crossing over between zones.
  • For the player zones, exiting after ice sessions will be directed by rink staff. Coaches are asked to keep their players in the dressing room until that time.
